Over 25 years ago, actor-turned-filmmaker Atul Agnihotri had stepped onto stage for a play that starred Suchitra Krishnamoorthy as his co-artiste.
This was during his student days at Sydenham College. Eons later, Atul and his wife Alvira have produced a Hindi play called Kiss Kiss Ko Pyaar Karoon. Salman's sister and brother-in-law found the comic caper appealing and decided to produce it. The drama stars Aasif Shaikh and Nausheen Ali Sardar and is about a married couple who start to feel the proverbial itch in their marriage.
Directed by Sunil Vyaas, its title song has been composed by Sajid-Wajid Sallu's favourite music duo. Kiss Kiss Ko Pyaar Karoon plays at the Sophia auditorium tonight. Don't be surprised if you run into Salman getting a taste of the floorboards too.
