Falls of a bike in Jalandhar, may have to undergo surgery
Kangna Ranaut fractured her foot in a motorcycle accident while shooting for Anand Rai's Tanu Weds Manu in Jalandhar on Sunday. The actress was performing an action sequence in which she had to ride a bike with a pillion rider. Unfortunately, they lost balance, the bike skid and fell on Kangna's foot. Worse, the anklets Kangna had on during the stunt were pressed beneath the bike's weight and pierced her foot. It took several crew members to lift the bike off Kangna's foot and free her. She was then rushed to a hospital in Jalandhar for X rays, which proved that the damage was very serious indeed. The producers of the film are arranging to bring one of the best orthopaedic surgeons to operate on Kangna's foot.
Anand and the film's producer Shailesh Singh are yet to chalk out a new shooting schedule. Anand was even impressed that Kangna was more worried about the shooting schedule than they were and was asking them about it even from the hospital bed.
