The Bengali bombshell, who made her B-Town debut with Vivek Agnihotri's Hate Story, has her Bengali film Elar Char Adhyay, in the Indian Panorama section.
She says, "The event showcases Indian cinema to the world. There are plenty of delegates from around the globe, so I will be soaking in all kinds of cinema. It is an honour to have your film at the festival. It will be screened both in the Panorama and competitive section." Akshay Kumar is slated to do the opening honours.
Paoli considers the project special to her. Directed by Bappaditya Bandopadhyay, it is based on Rabindranath Tagore's last novel Char Adhyay. The film is set in India under the British in the 1940s. It's about a woman's dilemma between her love and her commitment towards her motherland.

Paoli is currently working for her second Hindi film directed by Sohail Tatari about medical negligence. "I have four days of shoot left after which the film will be wrapped up."
