Actor Chandrachur Singh who recently made a comeback to the screen with the web series 'Aarya' starring Sushmita Sen in the lead was spotted at the airport on Thursday morning. The actor who is rarely seen making public appearances obliged the paps with photographs as he posed with his son Shraanajai Singh.
The father-son duo of Chandrachur and Shraanajai were captured by the paparazzi at the Mumbai airport as they headed out of the city. Chandrachur was seen in a blue polo t-shirt with grey pants while his son was seen in a blue denim jacket and black pants. The duo posed together and thanked the paps before heading inside the airport.

Actor Chandrachur Singh made his acting debut in the year 1996 with the film 'Tere Mere Sapne' which was produced under Amitabh Bachchan Corporation Limited. In the same year, he starred alongside Tabu in 'Maachis' for which he won the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. Thereon, he appeared in several films as a leading actor which failed to do well, but he had success with his lead roles in multi-starrers like 'Daag: The Fire' (1999) opposite Sanjay Dutt, 'Kya Kehna' (2000) opposite Preity Zinta and 'Josh' (2000) opposite Aishwarya Rai and Shah Rukh Khan. After initial successes, his career went through a low phase especially after, because of multiple dislocations of his shoulder joint, which he suffered while water skiing in Goa. Because of the pain on his shoulder, he couldn't work out or stay fit which caused him to gain weight and lose roles.
Talking to Pinkvilla, about losing opportunities after his injury, the actor had said, "When I was working in films, it used to get stalled, even though I did physiotherapy and all that, if my shoulder would get dislocated during the shoot, it would stop the shoot for some days, so I could heal. I did physiotherapy and surgery but the problem recurred and it was one of the things which pulled you down, professionally definitely."
After his injury, actor Chandrachur Singh made a comeback in 2012 with the multi-starrer film 'Chaar Din Ki Chandni. The film also featured Tusshar Kapoor, Kulraj Randhawa, Anupam Kher, Om Puri and Farida Jalal in lead roles. The film received a mixed response from critics and turned out to be a flop at most places in India. Singh also played a role in the 2012 English-language film 'The Reluctant Fundamentalist', directed by Mira Nair.
In 2020, he made a power-packed comeback with Ram Madhvani's Disney+Hotstar series 'Aarya'.
