Deepika Padukone
Sustainable fashion is the way forward and Bollywood celebrities would agree. Known as trendsetters, actresses have led the path that's followed by fashion enthusiasts. With the festival season going on, clothing can be a major hassle. Not often it is possible to buy new clothes just to be used occasionally. At such times, several Bollywood stars have come forward and emphasized the importance of repurposing outfits.
Deepika Padukone, known for her elite and rich taste in fashion, repeated one of her post-wedding outfits on Diwali 2023. For a puja at home with Ranveer Singh, the fashionista repeated her red and golden Sabyasachi dupatta which she wore for her first appearance after returning from her wedding in Italy.

Originally, Deepika wore the entire set including an ivory kurta and churidaar. She matched it with the iconic red and gold dupatta. The actress styled her post-wedding look with traditional red choodas, gold jhumkas, bangles, and her mangalsutra. She did her hair into a neat, sleek bun with center parting.
For Diwali 2023, she paired the same dupatta with a red and golden kurta and pyjama set, giving it a new and festive touch. She ditched heavy jewellery and opted for dainty studs.
In the recent past, Alia Bhatt repeated her wedding saree for the National Film Awards ceremony. She wore her ivory-coloured Sabyasachi customised saree for the special day. Giving it a new touch, Alia styled it differently. Instead of keeping her hair open, she tied it in a bun and adorned it with a flower. With kohl-rimmed eyes and a red bindi, she looked stunning.
Sharing a picture, Alia wrote, "A special day calls for a special outfit. And sometimes, that outfit is already right there. What's special once can be special again. And again..."
Deepika and Ranveer are celebrating 5 years of marriage today and tomorrow. They got married in the presence of family members and close friends in Italy on November 14 and 15, 2018. The couple's first film together, Goliyon Ki Raas Leela Ram Leela, completed 10 years. Known as DeepVeer, their love story began on the sets of the Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial.
