After months of speculation, the leading lady of Don 3 has finally been announced. The makers shared yesterday that Kiara Advani has got on board the third edition of the action thriller franchise. Alongside a specially created video, they wrote, "Welcome to the Don universe, Kiara Advani." Apparently, director Farhan Akhtar, who is also producing the film with his business partner Ritesh Sidhwani, felt that the Satyaprem Ki Katha actor is perfect for the part. What makes her casting interesting is that it marks her first on-screen pairing with Ranveer Singh, who has been signed on to play the titular role, made iconic by Amitabh Bachchan in 1978, and later, Shah Rukh Khan in the 2000s. However, it remains to be seen if Kiara's character will be called Roma or will she get a new name. Filming begins this summer and the makers plan to bring Don 3 to cinemas next year. This will be Kiara's second big action thriller, after Aditya Chopra's War 2, starring Hrithik Roshan and Junior NTR.
