Karan Johar
Karan Johar returned with Koffee with Karan season 8, and the first episode of the popular talk show premiered on October 26. As a result, there's been a lot of speculative chatter about the guests in the upcoming episodes of the show. Karan Johar took to Instagram to go live to talk to his fans and, of course, drop hints about the next guests.
In the midst of the live, Karan replied to a fan who asked if any cricketers were set to appear on this season of the show. Answering this eager fan's question, Karan Johar said that he would love nothing more than to have them on the show, but he wasn't sure if they would even pick up his call, considering the infamous incident on season 6.
Karan Johar asked, "Will they come? I don't know. (laughs) I'm not sure. I would love to have them. They are national icons, and celebrated illustrious personalities. But I think with what happened last time I'm not sure they will even take my call. I'm scared to even call and I'm such a big fan and have so much respect in my heart. I don't want to be rejected (sic.)"
As we know, KL Rahul and Hardik Pandya were the first two cricket players to appear on Koffee with Karan. They appeared on the sixth season of the show; however, things did not go quite as planned. Due to many âinappropriate' comments, the duo was subject to massive backlash after the episode aired.

The episode was even removed from the streaming platform because of some of the comments Hardik Pandya had made. Audiences everywhere had labelled the comments made as âcrass' and 'misogynistic'.
Meanwhile, Koffee with Karan 8 has created quite a stir since its release yesterday. Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh made their first appearance together on the show, giving it a fantastic opening. The couple provided insights into their relationship, marriage, and mental health on Karan Johar's highly popular chat show. While Deepika and Ranveer's wedding video stole the show, listening to how Ranveer Singh supported Deepika Padukone's mental health, was truly an enlightening experience.
