Sahil Salathia
Sahil Salathia knows how to keep his audience on the edge of their seat with his eccentric and unique fashion sense. The actor loves experimenting with his looks and doesn't shy away from showcasing even the most risqué outfits. Currently, he is having a gala time attending the ongoing New York Fashion Week in the US. And while there, he has also found a unique way to pay tribute to his mother through one of his outfits.
Sahil Salathia made a fashion statement at New York Fashion Week as he turned heritage outfits into runway magic by wearing a cape made out of his mother's Banarasi sarees. A Delhi-based designer named Nafisa Rachel William has restored and turned Sahil's mother's sarees into a cape for him to wear at the NYFW.
Excited about the piece, Sahil shares, "Three of my mother's Banarasi sarees have been turned into a massive cape. That's very interesting, and I am psyched up about wearing it today. Nafisa has made those sarees into a cape, restoring an outfit that is 35 years old. That's a wonderful story when you keep your family's tradition alive and carry that vintage value with yourself on a platform like this."
