Sonnalli Seygall spills the beans on her 'simple' wedding with Ashesh L Sajnani!

Bollywood actor Sonnalli Seygall who rose to fame after starring in Luv Ranjan's coming-of-age romantic comedy, 'Pyaar Ka Punchnama', tied the knot with her long-time boyfriend, Ashesh L Sajnani, in Mumbai on June 7.

Seygall, who got hitched to her hotelier husband in a hush-hush wedding ceremony in a Gurudwara, looked like a vision in her wedding attire which comprised of a blush pink embellished saree, a finely embroidered full-sleeved blouse and a long beautiful veil.

The newly-married couple walked with folded hands and obliged the paparazzi with a few photos as they greeted the media. Amidst the hustle and bustle of her intimate wedding, Seygall got candid with an esteemed news portal and spoke about her 'simple' wedding.

While speaking to Hindustan Times, Sonnalli said, "Ashesh and I were very sure about having a very simple wedding with people who mean something to us. It's a very private moment for us. It is what both our mothers wanted and we feel glad that we could do it for them. We really look forward to exploring this new phase of our life together," she said.

The 34-year-old actor walked the aisle in the presence of her and Sajnani's family members and their close friends. The wedding festivities began in the early afternoon.

Interestingly, instead of walking down the aisle with bridesmaids or best friends, Seygall walked under the floral canopy with her cute doggo, Bounty, who was too dressed in a pink ethnic dress.

A source close to Seygall also informed HT that the couple will have a grand wedding reception on Thursday, June 8. Spilling some beans about the reception, the source said, "The reception is going to be star-studded as well. Her Pyaar ka Punchnama actors will be present at the wedding, including Kartik Aaryan,"

With Kartik Aaryan, Sunny Singh and director Luv Ranjan in attendance, Seygall's close-knit wedding looked like a reunion for the 'Pyaar Ka Punchnama' team. Besides Kartik and Sunny, Shama Sikander, Sahil Salathia and Ridhima Pandit were too spotted at the wedding venue.

As per the news portal, the pre-wedding festivities of Sonnalli began on Monday, June 5. The couple had a mehendi ceremony. Celebrities, who happen to be close friends with the couple, were present for the functions.

Actors Sahil Salathia, Karan V Grover, Sumona Chakravarti, Raai Laxmi, Rohan Gandotra and others were present at the mehendi ceremony, which reportedly took place at Seygall's residence.

Sonnalli Seygall, the actor who has starred in movies such as 'Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety' and 'Jai Mummy Di', was last seen in MX Player's 2022 web series titled 'Anamika'.
