Farah Khan and Ed Sheeran
Filmmaker Farah Khan and actor Anil Kapoor arrived together for the latest episode of comedian Kapil Sharma's The Great Indian Kapil Show. The duo who are known for their candid and witty nature made all laugh with their stories and honest thoughts on different topics.
On the show, Kapil recalled an incident when Farah Khan refused to recognised international singer Ed Sheeran after inviting him to her house. Clarifying the same, the filmmaker said, "After a few drinks I was drunk. So, I went to the DJ and even abused him. I asked, 'Kya maiyyat ke gaane baja raha hai (Why are you playing these funeral songs)'. The DJ replied, 'I am playing Ed Sheeran songs.' I said, âOk then, carry on.'"
Farah further also admitted to cursing colleagues who say negative things about her. On the show, Kapil asked Farah and Anil if they were the revenge-taking kind of people Anil said, "No".
"I take revenge by doing good work," said Anil.

Farah, on the other hand, said she takes negative things to heart. "I don't revenge, but I keep negative feelings. Main man mein bolti hoon, âTeri what lag jaye!' I have a black tongue."
She further said, "âBeta teri agli do-teen picture toh gayi (I wish the next 2-3 films of theirs flop)! So whoever has had flops films in recent times, understand it happened because I cursed them".
When Anil said, "Meri toh sab hit hai," Farah, who lovingly calls him Papaji, replied, "Papaji, I will never wish that for you. I love you."
During the conversation, Farah revealed that at home, her husband-filmmaker and film editor Shirish, is the more talkative one.
Kapil asks Farah what the situation is like at home with Shirish, saying, "When she is the director, she scolds everyone. The audience wanted to know this. Have you ever scolded Shirish at home?"
Farah replies, "It's the opposite for me. Shirish is the boss in the house. He doesn't speak when he is out. At home, he speaks so much that all of us hide behind the couch. Thinking that he'll come and start giving us lectures. So at home, I am very calm, and polite."
'The Great Indian Kapil Show' airs on Saturday at 8 p.m. on Netflix.
