Kriti Sanon was snapped wearing a block-coloured thigh-high slit dress in Andheri, Mumbai. The actress, who is currently promoting her upcoming movie Arjun Patiala, along with the co-star Diljit Dosanjh, was all smiles when clicked by the paparazzi in the city. All pictures/Yogen Shah

Apart from Arjun Patiala, Kriti Sanon is also preparing for Ashutosh Gowariker's Panipat, alongside Arjun Kapoor. The actress will be seen playing the role of Parvati Bai.

In an exclusive interview with mid-day, Kriti Sanon said about the character she plays in Panipat: "My knowledge of history is terrible since I have never been fond of the subject. So for me, every word about the Battle of Panipat came from Ashu sir. Not too much is documented about Parvati Bai, so the character was built by Ashu sir in the way he visualised her. We had an amazing experience of finding the character."

Divya Khosla Kumar was snapped at the T-Series office in Andheri, Mumbai. Bhushan Kumar's wife Divya, who debuted as an actress with Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Saathiyo, has directed Yaariyan and Sanam Re. She faced the cameras last for a short film titled Bulbul.

In an interview with IANS, Divya Khosla Kumar said: "After 'Bulbul' released, I've been getting very good acting offers. I am reading some of the scripts. Currently, I am open to acting, and I am just going to finalise what I am going to take up next."

Yami Gautam was also clicked in the city. On the professional front, Yami will be next seen in Bala. The film is about a man who balds prematurely and how he deals with it. Directed by Amar Kaushik, the film also features Bhumi Pednekar and Ayushmann Khurrana.

Bala brings Yami Gautam and Ayushmann Khurrana together after the duo's highly-acclaimed Vicky Donor (2012), which marked the Bollywood debut of both actors. While Khurrana has a proclivity for off-beat scripts — a tendency that has earned him many box-office successes — Gautam admits that this time, the script's novelty won her over too.
