The latest episode of Koffee With Karan saw the 'bachelor boys' Aditya Roy Kapur and Arjun Kapoor grace the couch. Aditya had a great year with the success of hiss web series 'The Night Manager'. In the episode, his relatioship to his 'ignorance is bliss' attitude was talked about

Arjun Kapoor might not have had a good year at movies but that sure has not dampened his spirits. The actor was at his wittiest best as he made the episode lively with his presence and energy

On the episode, Karan Johar revealed that they have a boys club which includes Aditya, Arjun and even Ranbir Kapoor. Johar said that when the boys get together Aditya often become the glorious, gorgeous punching bag as Ranbir belives that he knows nothing about anything

Relationship rumours:

Karan Johar said that he had asked Ananya during a previous episode of the show about her equation with Aditya to which Ananya had replied, saying, "I'm feeling Ananya Coy Kapur". Taking from that, Aditya said that he is "Aditya Joy Kapur". He said, "I'm quite joyous". Karan said, "So the first word that comes to your mind when I say Ananya is 'joy'?". To which, Aditya responded, "Joy, pure joy and bliss"

Relationship status: 

Arjun, who is quite public about his relationship with Malaika Arora, was asked where they are moving with it. He said that he is in a very happy space but would not like to discuss the course of his relationship in the absence of his partner

Arjun Kapoor on Box Office results: 

"I am the first actor in my generation to deliver a 100 crore film, with Dharma and Sajid Nadiadwala that was ‘2 States’. I have seen the high, I have done a film like ‘Ki & Ka’ that did well, where I was a house husband, I have done all kinds of work, I have worked with so many people. I mean Akshay Kumar has spoken so openly about the fact that he almost considered leaving the profession at one point of time, 11-12 flops I think he has seen. When you look at Saif’s career, till ‘Dil Chahta Hai’ didn’t happen, he was on a different trajectory. If my audience has loved me and connected with me because of the work that I did, they are not going to disconnect if I give them a good film.”

On a lighter note, Aditya's lack of knowledge on Hindi cinema was exposed when he could not recall the presence of a dog in the film 'Hum Aapke Hai Koun'. Karan and Arjun burst into laughter when he could not remember 'Tuffy'. However, he redeemed himself when he rightly recalled the character names of SRK and Kajol in 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai'

KJo defends DeepVeer episode: 

“I felt that it was one of the most honest episodes and the most heartfelt episodes I did with Deepika and Ranveer. I think all three kind of came clean on so much of our emotional heft, so many of our feelings. And then there was a ridiculous kind of after effect. I just want to put it out there that the reaction angered me. I thought it was one of our best episodes," he said. 

“They were outstandingly honest. They were earnest. They spoke so much. They shared so much. They were so gracious. And then you're f****** talking about some nonsense. I am like, ‘What do you know about somebody else’s personal life and marriage?' Tu apne ghar pe dekh na (Look at what's happening at your own home) is what I wanted to tell them. I wanted to show them my f****** middle finger! I am like, you know, just shut up," he added. 

Aditya roots for Kartik: 

Karan Johar asked the 'Aashiqui 2' star what it feels like when somebody else takes their franchise forward. To which Aditya responded that he feels Kartik is the perfect person to star in 'Aashiqui 3'.

Aditya said, "There was no chance I could be in this, because in the second part, my character went for a long swim, from which he is not returning." Arjun then interrupted and said, "Then he became the night manager after that"

While Arjun Kapoor won the quiz round, Aditya Roy Kapur won the rapid fire round with 61 percent vote. This is the first time that Arjun lost the rapid fire round
