Indian 2 (Theatre release)
After Kalki 2898 AD, Kamal Haasan is set to star in Indian 2, the much-awaited sequel to the 1996 film Indian. Kamal will reprise his role as Veerasekaran Senapathy, a character who once fought against the system and now aims to save society. Directed by S. Shankar, Indian 2 will release on July 12 worldwide in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.

Sarfira (Theatre release)
Akshay Kumar’s new film has excited fans with its trailer. Directed by Sudha Kongara, it’s a remake of Soorarai Pottru. The movie tells a gripping story set in India's startup culture and aviation industry, following Akshay's character from debt-ridden beginnings to becoming a visionary entrepreneur. Suriya will make a guest appearance. Sarfira is set to release on July 12 and also features Radhika Madan, Paresh Rawal, and Seema Biswas.

Bad Newz (Theatre release)
The romantic comedy-drama stars Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri, and Ammy Virk. Previously titled Mere Mehboob Mere Sanam, Bad Newz is the first collaboration between Vicky, Triptii, and Ammy. Directed by Anand Tiwari, the film also features Neha Dhupia. It’s set to release in theaters on July 19.

Deadpool and Wolverine (Theatre release)
Starring Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds, this film hits theatres on July 26. The trailer shows Hugh Jackman as Wolverine for the first time since 2017's Logan, teaming up with Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool, who is recruited for a mission by the Time Variance Authority from Loki. The movie introduces Wolverine and Deadpool to the MCU.

Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha (Theatre release)
Starring Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Shantanu Maheshwari, and Jimmy Sheirgill, this film, directed by Neeraj Pandey, was supposed to be released on July 5 but has now been postponed. The movie promises to be a unique musical love story and epic romantic drama spanning 20 years, set between 2002 and 2023.

Kill (Theatre release)
This action-packed film stars Raghav Juyal, Lakshya, Tanya Maniktala, Abhishek Chauhan, Ashish Vidyarthi, and Harsh Chhaya. Directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat, Kill premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) in 2023. Produced by Karan Johar, it will release in theatres on July 5.

Raayan (Theatre release)
Written and directed by Dhanush, this Tamil action thriller will hit screens on July 26. Raayan marks Dhanush’s second directorial venture and 50th feature film. Produced by Kalanithi Maran under Sun Pictures, it stars Dhanush in the title role along with S. J. Suryah, Prakash Raj, and others.

Fly Me To The Moon (Theatre release)
Scarlett Johansson and Channing Tatum star in this romantic comedy, debuting in Indian theaters on July 12. Directed by Greg Berlanti, the film is set against the backdrop of NASA’s historic Apollo 11 moon landing. It also features Nick Dillenburg, Anna Garcia, Jim Rash, and others.

Mirzapur: Season 3 (5 July 2024, Amazon Prime Video)  
Season 3 of Mirzapur promises more chaos. With Munna’s death, Kaleen Bhaiya forms an alliance with Sharad. As new power dynamics emerge, Guddu, Kaleen, Sharad, Beena, Golu, and Shatrughan vie for control over Mirzapur. Expect fierce confrontations, shifting alliances, and inconspicuous betrayals as everyone tries to dominate.

Kakuda (12 July 2024, ZEE5)  
This horror comedy, starring Sonakshi Sinha, Riteish Deshmukh, and Saqib Saleem, is directed by Aditya Sarpotdar. Set in the village of Ratodi in Uttar Pradesh's Mathura district, Kakuda will be released on ZEE5 on July 12.

Wild Wild Punjab (10 July 2024, Netflix)  
Featuring Varun Sharma, Sunny Singh, Jassie Gill, Manjot Singh, Patralekhaa, and Ishita Raj, this movie, directed by Simarpreet Singh, will premiere on Netflix on July 10. Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg are the producers.

How To Train Your Dragon 2 (1 July 2024, Netflix)  
A sequel to How to Train Your Dragon (2010) and the second instalment in the trilogy, this story is set five years after the first film. It follows twenty-year-old Hiccup and his friends as they meet Valka, Hiccup’s long-lost mother, and Drago Bludvist, a madman who wants to conquer the world.

Sprint (2 July 2024, Netflix)  
Dive into the minds of top athletes who train to become the world’s fastest sprinters. This series features elite sprinters discussing their training, media scrutiny, and fierce competition, providing an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the sport.

Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F (3 July 2024, Netflix)  
As the fourth movie in the Beverly Hills Cop series and a follow-up to Beverly Hills Cop III (1994), this action-comedy brings Axel Foley back to Beverly Hills. The savvy police lieutenant from Detroit joins forces with his daughter Jane, her ex-boyfriend, and his old buddies John Taggart and Billy Rosewood to uncover who is threatening his daughter.

Bob Marley: One Love (3 July 2024, Amazon Prime Video)  
Based on the life of iconic reggae singer and songwriter Bob Marley, this film follows his journey from rising to fame until his death in 1981.

If (3 July 2024, BookMyShow)  
Bea is a young girl experiencing a difficult time until she realizes she can see people's imaginary friends, called IFs. She discovers her neighbour Cal has the same ability, and together they aim to reunite the IFs with the children who created them.

Red Swan (3 July 2024, Disney+ Hotstar)  
Oh Wan-soo, a poor woman turned world-class golfer, catches the attention of Hwan Group’s heir, Kim Yong-guk, who proposes marriage. As she struggles with her mother's debts, she agrees, only to discover his affair. Wan-soo tries to save her marriage but finds herself involved in a gunfight and saved by her bodyguard, Seo Do-yoon. She develops feelings for him but is unsure of his true motivations.

The Man with 1000 Kids (3 July 2024, Netflix)  
This three-episode docuseries unravels the chaos created by Jonathan Meijer, who became a trusted sperm donor to hundreds of children across the world. The series features interviews with the parents affected by Meijer’s actions and the professionals trying to stop him. 

Barbecue Showdown: Season 3 (4 July 2024, Netflix)  
Eight contestants from all over the United States compete in a barbecue cook-off to earn the title of American Barbecue Champion. They face various cooking challenges, including some surprise twists, as they race toward the finale.

Space Cadet (4 July 2024, Amazon Prime India)  
Tiffany “Rex” Simpson dreams of going to space and finally gets into NASA’s astronaut training program through a "doctored" application. She now needs to see if she can make it through training and into space before her cover is blown.

Skywalkers: A Love Story (18 July 2024, Netflix)  
Another documentary coming to Netflix in July 2024 is ‘Skywalkers: A Love Story.’ If you have a fear of heights, this might not be for you. Directed by Jeff Zimbalist and co-directed by Maria Bukhonina, the film follows a daredevil couple traveling the world to climb the last super skyscraper and perform a daring stunt on its spire. It will be released exclusively on Netflix on July 18, 2024.

Find Me Falling (19 July 2024, Netflix)  
As part of Netflix’s Summer of Love, a new romantic movie about rock star John Allman will be released. Trying to revive his career, Allman retreats to an isolated home on the Mediterranean island of Cyprus, but his plans for solitude are interrupted by encounters with strangers and unexpected reunions. 

The Decameron Season 1 (25 July 2024, Netflix)  
Kathleen Jordan introduces a new historical comedy series set during the unexpectedly lively period of the Black Death outbreak. The show follows quirky characters and explores the class systems of the time. The cast includes Zosia Mamet, Saoirse-Monica Jackson, and Tony Hale.
