Jeremy Allen White won the Best Male Actor in a Comedy Series at the SAG Awards 2024. He secured the award for his role in 'The Bear' series, triumphing over other notable actors like Brett Goldstein, Bill Hader, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, and Jason Sudeikis.

During his acceptance speech, Jeremy expressed appreciation for Ebon Moss-Bachrach's outstanding work in the second season of 'The Bear,' he said, "Thank you so much First, I just have to say Ebon, you are so, so excellent in everything you do, especially in the second season where the work you do is so incredible. I love you so, so much... 'll be thanking you guys for the rest of my life."
Jeremy, who is 33 years old, has been on a winning streak this year, previously receiving an Emmy Award, a Critics' Choice Award, and two Golden Globes.
His success isn't new, though. Jeremy has been putting in the effort since his 'Shameless' days. Apart from his TV achievements, he recently starred in the A24 drama movie 'The Iron Claw,' portraying a pro wrestler named Kerry Von Erich alongside Zac Efron.
About 'The Bear'
'The Bear' centres around a chef, played by Jeremy Allen White, who returns to Chicago to manage his family's sandwich shop after his brother's death. The show, created by Christopher Storer and available on Hulu, portrays the challenges Carmy faces in improving the kitchen staff's skills amid personal struggles and financial issues.
Ebon Moss-Bachrach plays Richie, Carmy's tough yet kind cousin, while Ayo Edebiri portrays Sydney, Carmy's ambitious helper. The ensemble cast also includes Lionel Boyce, Liza Colón-Zayas, Abby Elliot, Matty Matheson, and Edwin Lee Gibson.
'The Bear' has been winning big, getting awards from big names like the Screen Actors Guild, Writers Guild, and Producers Guild. Jeremy Allen White, the main actor, bagged a Golden Globe for his stellar performance, and Ayo Edebiri got her hands on an Independent Spirit Award for her role in the show.
To top it off, the series is in the running for a whopping 13 Emmys, with nods in key categories like Best Comedy Series. Jeremy Allen White and Ayo Edebiri are up for acting awards, and even guest stars Jon Bernthal and Oliver Platt got recognized for their roles in the series.
