How did you kick off the season?
I was working and you know as a Mumbaikar even though you are always ready for the rains you never really know when to expect it. This time I felt rains were a bit late and that day I hadn't carried an umbrella, I got wet and it was an enjoyable experience.

What food or drink do you indulge in during the monsoon?
Bhajiya, tea, bread pakoda and paneer pakoda.
Favourite rain song on your playlist?
'Mere Paas Hai' from 'Taal' is my all time favourite.
Favourite monsoon memory in Mumbai...
My favourite monsoon memories are those as a child, in the colonies I stayed with a big backyard and huge garden. Playing in the puddles around, feeding the frogs and having a blast with my friends.
What is your favourite place to visit in Mumbai during the monsoon?
Bandstand, Marine Drive and Worli sea face and the area neat Taj hotel. Also, Mithibai campus for Vada pavs.
Cafe or restaurant recommendations for the season...
The Bagel Shop, Pizza by the Bay at Marine Drive and The Dome are too good.
Choice of outfits for the season...
GumBoots are cool, windcheaters too, umbrellas in bright colours like yellow.
What do dislike about the monsoon?
Potholes in Mumbai and the busy highways.
Movies to binge watch while stuck at home...
'A Thursday,' 'Zidd' and also 'Taal' is a movie with good rain sequences.
