Telly tattle: Ssharad Malhotra returns to historical drama with Vidrohi

Five years after Maharana Pratap, Ssharad Malhotra has returned to a historical drama titled Vidrohi. He says, "While the language is not easy, the show is physically exhausting. Even if you are hurt, the show must go on."

Doctor, doctor

After assisting in film direction, Vidyut Xavier has bagged his first lead role with Dhadkan Zindaggi Kii, where he plays a doctor. "The show talks about gender disparity in the medicine industry," says the actor.

A hit song

After singing in movies, Shaan recently made his television debut by singing the title track of the show, Tere Bina Jiya Jaye Na. He recalls, "The [makers] told me that they always wanted me to croon a song. We recorded it in one sitting."
