The rampant rise of consumption of content through digital platforms has led to the birth of multiple OTT platforms. It has also led to audiences being able to access content from across the world. In the last couple of year, content backed by Bangladeshi OTT production has gained momentum in India. CEO of the platform, Redoan Rony said, "Bengali, as a language, is not just restricted within a country or a state. It is far bigger and more global than that. If we can bring talents from two Banglas - Bangladesh and West Bengal - together, we will get outstanding content that will enrich the global market. All the serious players collaborate. Hoichoi has it's set up in Bangladesh and is creating content. Similarly, we plan to collaborate with talents in Bengal."
