Time series images (Left: 15 Sep 2023; Right: 29 Dec 2024) from EOS-04 (RISAT-1A) ‘C’ band microwave satellite provides unique insights on details of the Tent City along with its network of pontoon bridges and supporting infrastructure, set up for Mahakumbh 2025.

The area marked ‘1’ is Triveni Sangam, ‘2’ and ‘3’ are pontoon bridges, ‘4’ represents parking, medical facilities, etc. at Parade Ground and areas marked ‘5’, ‘6’, ‘7’ and ‘8’ showcase the Tent City infrastructure.

These time series images (Left: 6 April 2024; Centre: 22 Dec 2024; Right: 10 Jan 2025) of the Parade Grounds show the transformation the location went through as the city geared up to welcome millions of worshippers and host one of the largest congregations on Earth.
