Grand celebrations took place in Ayodhya, the birthplace of Lord Ram. Devotees gathered at Ram Janmbhoomi Temple to seek blessings. The idol of Ram Lalla was anointed on the special occasion.
The temple was beautifully decorated, and a special 'Surya Tilak' was also applied on the revered idol of Lord Ram at noon. A beam of sunlight precisely directed on the forehead of the idol formed a celestial tilak.
