Here's something for students who want to enjoy international education at local prices
The coveted Stratford University has just made its way into the capital. In an exclusive tie-up with an Indian college called the Modi Academic International Institute (MAII), it hopes to enroll 10,000 students at its various campuses in Lajpat Nagar, Pitampura and Gurgaon. The joint venture will operate under the guidance of Charu Modi Bhartia, chairman of KK Modi Investment and Financial Services. The expansion plans include opening new campuses across major cities in India in the next five years. The joint venture will offer Indian students the opportunity to get quality American education at one-fifth the price that a student would need to pay to finish a Master's degree on Stratford's campus in the U.S.
Dr. Richard R Shurtz, II, the President of Stratford University, who was present at the announcement of the association, said, "It makes sense to work together to anticipate the largest emerging education market in the world India." Charu Modi nodded. "We hope to create a system that will benefit India by effectively blending our ethos of learning with the Western system of education."
At present, Stratford will offer undergraduate and graduate programs in high demand fields such as business management programs, hospitality, IT and health sciences. Stratford's curriculum combines advanced technology and hands-on labs with traditional educational methods. The teaching methods and delivery style are student-centric, leading to excellent graduation and placement rates.
