This year, the festival which is in its fifth edition will present bands from countries like Afghanistan, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Maldives, Nepal and Sri Lanka. "It is indeed going to be an exciting amalgamation of talent from across the sub-continent," says percussionist Mohit Lal with the fusion band Advaita. "But we have a home ground advantage," adds Lal hinting their proximity to the Capital's audience since they are from Delhi.u00a0

But it would be foolhardy to underestimate Zeb and Haniya, the Amazons from neighbouring Pakistan. Their 'soulful and emotive music' has been well received in music festivals in the United States, Norway, Malaysia, and Italy and of course their own breed of fan followers in their own country. "So would be with underestimating bands from Sri Lanka or Nepal, We haven't heard most of them but they are suppose to be good," says Sanchal Malhar, the guitarist from Indigo Nation who'll also perform in the festival.u00a0

After the shows Malhar intends to give the guests a fair dose of Indian hospitality. "Don't know about introducing them to Delhi's with Bacchus worshipping rites but yes, we can share an Indian beer or two, lip-smacking food and some good music," he says. u00a0u00a0

Seems the three day musical mayhem will leave behind a high body count of fans suffering from a hangover. The only practical solution seems to be the age old hair of the dog trick, consume more enthralling music to beat it.u00a0
