Drink plenty of water
Drink a sufficient amount of water throughout the day, even if you don't feel thirsty. Consumer other natural and healthy fluids. Refrain from excessive alcohol and caffeine intake as these beverages can dehydrate you.

Wear the right clothes
Opt for lightweight, loose-fitting, and light-coloured clothes. This will help keep the body fresh and cool. Additionally, always make use of a hat or umbrella to shield your head from direct sun rays.

Avoid stepping out during peak hours
Stay indoors during the hottest hours of the day i.e. between 10 am to 4 pm. If you step out, ensure you wear a hat and sunglasses to protect from the harsh UV rays.

Keep your body temperature cool
Make use of fans, air conditioning, and coolers to keep the room temperature pleasant. Ensure you take cool showers with normal room-temperature water to bring down your body temperature. You can also try placing a damp cloth on your forehead or neck for quick relief.

Limit intense activities
Avoid intense physical activities during extreme heat. If you prefer exercising outdoors, do so during cooler hours like early morning or late evening.
