Police officials investigating the death of a 20-year-old college student, who jumped to death from her apartment in south Mumbai, have ruled out foul play in the incident.


Police officials investigating the death of a 20-year-old college student, who jumped to death from her apartment in south Mumbai, have ruled out foul play in the incident.

Sneha Dani, a student of Sydenham college in south Mumbai, had allegedly jumped from her seventh floor residence located in Malabar Hill in south Mumbai late on Friday night.

Subsequent investigations revealed that she had been receiving treatment for a mental ailment due to which she might have been depressed, police officials said.

Dani had been receiving treatment at the KEM Hospital and had attempted to take her life once in the past as well, they added.
