In a piece of heartening news, mid-day photographers' team led by photo editor Ashish Rane were among hundreds of photographers from Mumbai to be hailed as 'Corona Crusaders' and felicitated.
The photographers who led mid-day's coverage of the pandemic and never missed any vital piece of news from city were felicitated for their dedicated photojournalism during the pandemic.
The award was conferred by the Bombay News Photographers Association (BNPA). The prestigious event was held at Mumbai Marathi Patrakar Sangh, Mahapalika Marg in Fort.
Over 120 photographers from different media outlets were felicitated for their relentless and courageous work during the COVID-19 outbreak.
