The park, located at Juhu Chowpatty near Novotel Hotel, has been transformed into a safe and engaging space for pets and pet owners.

The transformation of an open space, once neglected for over a decade, into a dedicated pet park has been a welcome change for the local community.

Pet owners can now take their pets to the park for fun activities like playing on slides designed specifically for animals.

The park’s inauguration by filmmaker Ashoke Pandit drew enthusiastic locals, highlighting the demand for such a facility in the area.

The Juhu Pet Park, Mumbai's first beach-facing pet park, is managed jointly by local residents and the BMC, ensuring its day-to-day running.

Plans are underway to introduce additional amenities such as ramp shows, vaccination camps, and a fridge for stray dog food in the park.

Local MLA Ameet Satam, a strong advocate for the initiative, emphasised how the park’s creation has transformed an area once used as a dumping ground into a safe space for pets to socialise and play.
