Since the birth anniversary of Rajiv Gandhi is celebrated as Goodwill Day, Chief Minister Shinde gave a message of Goodwill to the attendees.

Shinde paid floral tributes to late Gandhi at his official residence, Varsha. 

MP Bhavna Gawli, MLA Anil Babar, MLA Sanjay Shirsat, MLA Abhimanyu Pawar etc were present on this occasion. 

The Chief Minister later paid floral tributes to the statue of late Rajiv Gandhi at Mantralaya Precinct.

The former Prime Minister of India was killed in a suicide bombing in Sriperumbudur in Tamil Nadu, on May 21, 1991. At least 14 others were also killed.
