The Mumbai terror attacks is now part of booklore. Mumbai 26/11, the first Marathi book written by Sanjay Sonawani, who also owns an IT company, has hit the market.
This has been attracting curious readers to delve into new and latest interpretations on the assault on Mumbai.
The 140-page paperback edition of Bharat Book House from Pune, also gives a brief history of terrorism, as an informative backgrounder and focuses on its international ramifications.
"This book is intended to create awareness among the Indians and tell them not to rely on government machinery alone, for their own safety," Sonawani told MiD DAY.
"I also wanted to tell them that terrorism just doesn't mean only firing and bomb blasts, but it also reveals many other dimensions that can affect our lives," he added.

Sonawani has written 62 books. He also gave an angle on Mumbai 26/11 that could be a word of caution for Barack Obama and Israel too.
"Partly, the attack was against Judaism and Christians," he opined.
According to Sonawani the roots of terrorism are ancient and mostly had religious traits associated with it.
