MBOSE (Meghalaya Board of School Education) was established in 1974. From the year 1996, the Board is managing all the academic matters related with framing of syllabus for all the classes,including SSLC- 10th Class and HSSLC - 12th Class.

MBOSE Examination & Results:

Meghalaya Board of School Education was set up in 1973 beneath Meghalaya Board of School Education Act. This board was set up to control, manage and to build up education in the state. MBOSE is stated to conduct HSSLC 12th board exam along with SSLC 10th board exam.

Meghalaya Board of School Education has conducted the Meghalaya Board Exam 2014 in the month of March 2014. The MBOSE HSSLC 12th board exam 2014 started on 4th March and ended on 21st March.
