PM reaches Assam, hailstorm delays rally

A day after serial blasts rocked Assam, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh arrived here on Tuesday to address a campaign rally that had to be delayed due to a hailstorm.

The venue of Manmohan Singh's rally was flooded and officials said attempts were being made to arrange the public meeting in another place.

Ten people were killed on Monday in four explosions and two grenade attacks in various parts of Assam, including the main city Guwahati.
