In the meeting, it was decided to form a three-member committee to look into safety aspects like video vigilance and procuring speed guns for deployment on the 91-km stretch, official sources said.u00a0
The panel will be asked to submit its report within a fortnight, they said.
It was also decided to procure 15 breath analysers and making arrangements for playing a CD at the toll nakas on the expressway informing drivers about taking necessary precautions, the sources added.
The meeting was held in the wake of a major accident on the six-lane expressway earlier this week in which 27 people were killed.
