The Yeola Assembly constituency in Nashik district will witness a triangular tussle between political parties for the October 13 Maharashtra Assembly polls.

Shiv Sena has pitted Manikrao Madhavrao Shinde-Patil while Republican Left Democratic Front (RLDF) has fielded Dinkar Sitaram Dhivare and BSP has given its candidature to Paulas Ahire.

Deputy Chief Minister Chhagan Bhujbal will be contesting on NCP ticket from Yeola for the second consecutive time.

The total electorate in the constituency are 255359, including 123844 women. After restructuring, 47 villages coming in Niphad tehsil town have been included in Yeola.
