On Basant Panchami’s Amrit Snan, the total count of bathers crossed the 350 million mark, as per official figures. By 8 am on Monday, 6.2 million devotees had bathed at Triveni Sangam, marking a historic milestone.

With 23 days remaining, the total number of visitors is expected to exceed 500 million by the end of Mahakumbh. The highest turnout was recorded on Mauni Amavasya, with 80 million devotees taking a dip.
Makar Sankranti saw 35 million bathers, while Paush Purnima witnessed 17 million. Prominent political leaders, including Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath, have participated.
Governor Anandiben Patel, Rajasthan CM Bhajan Lal, and other senior ministers have also visited the sacred site. Bollywood actors like Hema Malini, Anupam Kher, and Milind Soman, along with cricketer Suresh Raina and choreographer Remo D’Souza, have taken part.
The participation of saints, Kalpvasis, and devotees from across the globe highlights the event’s universal appeal. The spiritual energy in Prayagraj remains strong, drawing millions each day to seek blessings.
The Mahakumbh 2025 began on 13 January and will continue until 26 February, setting new records in attendance. The event reinforces its timeless spiritual significance, with an overwhelming display of faith and devotion from pilgrims worldwide.
