During a Congress Workers' Convention in Delhi, Kharge highlighted unfulfilled promises, including the pledge to provide 2 crore jobs and the commitment of Rs 15 lakh for everyone.

Kharge referred to Prime Minister Modi as 'Jhuthon ka Sardar,' emphasising the government's alleged betrayal of farmers, youth, and women.

Kharge described the upcoming Lok Sabha elections as a battle to protect the Constitution and democracy, warning that a BJP victory will result in people being perpetual slaves of Prime Minister Modi.

The Congress representative expressed alarm about growing prices, highlighting the significant increase in the cost of an LPG cylinder under PM Modi's tenure compared to the Congress-led UPA era.

Kharge criticised the country's declining employment chances, noting 30 lakh unfilled government positions and accusing the government of postponing recruitment to exclude certain demographics.

He blamed the lack of recruiting on the government's unwillingness to enable SC/ST, poor, and backward individuals to fill these posts, claiming a purposeful strategy to limit access to these changes.

In a historical contrast, Kharge lauded Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru for establishing public sectors, which he believes created job prospects for the public.
