The Air Quality Index (AQI) in the national capital was classified in the 'severe' category on Tuesday, with visibility limited by the fog. (In Pic: A woman crosses railway tracks amid fog on a cold winter day, in New Delhi on Monday)

According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the AQI was recorded at 401 at 8 AM. (In Pic: A woman holds a child wrapped in warm clothes on a cold winter day, in New Delhi on Monday)
