The scheme allows aspiring entrepreneurs to apply for loans through an online portal, removing traditional barriers to institutional credit. PM Modi highlighted how the Mudra Yojana has empowered those who were previously overlooked by the financial system.

The initiative has contributed not only to financial inclusion, but also social inclusion and economic independence across the country. PM Modi praised the beneficiaries, stating that the scheme had turned countless dreams into reality and inspired confidence among India’s grassroots entrepreneurs.

The government reaffirmed its commitment to building a strong ecosystem that gives every aspiring entrepreneur access to credit and support. The Ministry of Finance described the Mudra Yojana as a trust-based movement that believes in people’s potential and in the smallest dreams having the power to grow.
