Commuters faced delays, especially on the Ring Road near the ITO loop and IP Extension. A commuter reported severe congestion on Vikas Marg, forcing them to take a U-turn near the IP Extension metro station.

Vehicles crawled near Shivaji Stadium metro station, close to Connaught Place, adding to the inconvenience. Security checks at the Delhi-Noida border further exacerbated traffic, causing delays for Noida residents.

Sneha Rai, a Noida resident, highlighted congestion at Ashram Chowk and on Ring Road due to diversions. Roads near C-Hexagon at India Gate were closed, leading to vehicle diversions and extended queues.

Long delays were experienced as vehicles navigated through alternate routes due to the road closures. The Delhi Police issued a traffic advisory on Wednesday to inform commuters about movement restrictions near India Gate.

Commuters were advised to plan their journeys in advance to avoid the affected areas during the rehearsal.
