On December 2, Samajwadi Party (SP) Chief and MP Akhilesh Yadav accused the BJP of being responsible for the violence in Sambhal. Speaking in the Lok Sabha, Yadav described the incident as a "well-planned conspiracy" aimed at disrupting the communal harmony in the region. He emphasized that the BJP and its allies are intentionally attempting to undermine the country`s unity by promoting divisive rhetoric, referring to their statements about "digging all over the country." Yadav expressed concern that such actions would threaten the brotherhood that has long existed among the people, particularly in Sambhal, and warned that the BJP`s divisive politics could have disastrous consequences for national unity.
