Congress MP Shashi Tharoor has reflected on India`s decision to buy fuel from Russia amid the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict. Speaking about his past criticism of India`s stance in a 2022 parliamentary debate, Tharoor admitted, "I have egg on my face." He had initially opposed India`s position, citing concerns about violations of international principles. However, three years later, Tharoor acknowledged that India`s approach allowed the country to maintain good relations with both Ukraine and Russia.
