The world isn't that bad as you think it is! At least, you will feel so after watching this heart-warming video that has gone viral on social media.
In this 45-second video, Prabhu, a Tamil Nadu man is seen rescuing a monkey by giving it an emergency Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). According to a report in The New Indian Express, the monkey was attacked by a pack of dogs.
When Prabhu noticed that the monkey was losing its breath, he also tried mouth-to-mouth resuscitation after CPR, the video shows. Once the money started responding, the relieved man affectionately carried the monkey in his arms.
An Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer had originally shared shared this video on Twitter. The officer wrote that the man's quick action saved the monkey's life.

The video was then widely shared by netizens, including cricketer R Ashwin, who took to Twitter to appreciate the man's kindness. Along with the video, he wrote "There is hope".
Many Twitter users went on to applaud the man's act. "As they say, it is because of such people that we are still having rain and crop," said one user. Several other reiterated that "Humanity is still alive".
