Popeye arm is for Real

Matthias Schlitte (22), a German arm wrestler, has been dubbed the real-life Popeye for his large right forearm.

The forearm measures 18 inches around far more than his relatively small left arm.

His hefty cartoon-style muscles have helped him wrestle his way into first place in many competitions, including the Iron Curtain Armwars in Blackburn and the German Championships in Haltern this year.u00a0

Popeye the Sailor is known for his funny voice, love of spinach and disproportionately muscular forearms, which are embellished with anchor tattoos.
