Samoa's Daris Visser shattered the records when he smashed 39 runs in a single over when he faced Vanuatu's Nalin Nipiko. The pacer conceded 39 runs in a single over which also included three no balls

Former England pacer Stuart Broad was the first-ever bowler who registered an unwanted record to his name. In the 2007 T20 World Cup, former swashbuckling Indian batsman Yuvraj Singh smashed Broad for 36 runs

Later, during the first T20I between West Indies and Sri Lanka, Kieron Pollard scored 36 runs in the over of Akila Dananjaya. The Lankan ended his four-over spell with a score of 62 runs and also snapped three wickets

In the third T20I against Afghanistan, Team India's captain Rohit Sharma and Rinku Singh registered their names in the history books. Partnering up the duo blasted 36 runs in Karim Janat's over. Rohit and Rinku, together milked 190 runs in the match which helped the "Men in Blue" to draw the match

In a T20I match between Nepal and Qatar, Dipendra Singh Airee stole the show by smashing 6 sixes in Qatar's Kamran Khan's over. The right-hander stayed unbeaten on 64 runs off 21 balls which was laced with 3 fours and 7 sixes

The T20 World Cup 2024 was said to be the tournament for bowlers and that's when West Indies' star Nicholas Pooran decided to prove it wrong. He smashed 36 runs in Afghanistan's Azmatullah Omarzai's over. Later, the Afghans managed to get rid of Pooran, but the Caribbean returned to the pavilion after damaging the opponents in the global showpiece. The left-hander departed on a score of 98 runs which came in 53 balls including 6 fours and 8 sixes
