England won the toss and opted to field first against Australia at Old Trafford. Opener Usman Khawaja got dismissed early in the game by Stuart Broad while David Warner(42) shared a second-wicket stand of 46 with Marnus Labuschagne(51) before being dismissed by Chris Woakes. Broad took out Travis Head, thus completing 600 Test wickets. Labuschagne and Mitchell Marsh smashed half-centuries as Woakes took 5 wickets in the innings. Australia were bowled out at 317. Ben Duckett and Zak Crawley opened for England, While Duckett fell early on Mitchell Starc’s ball, Crawley went on to score a stunning century (189 runs), remaining just 11 runs short of a double hundred. (Pic: AFP)
