Kiran More, a former Indian cricketer and wicket-keeper played for the Indian cricket team from 1984 to 1993.

Kiran More was part of the India Under-19 team in the late 1970s. He played for Tata Sports Club in the Times Shield in Bombay and for Barrow in the North Lancashire League in 1982. He toured West Indies as the understudy to Syed Kirmani in 1982 ,83 without playing a Test.

Representing Baroda in the Ranji Trophy, Kiran More played two major innings in 1983-84 , 153* against Maharashtra and 181* against Uttar Pradesh. He added 145 for the last wicket with Vasudev Patel which stood as a Ranji record for nearly a decade. Baroda qualified for the semifinal before losing to Delhi. Kiran More also appeared in two One Day Internationals against England in 1984-85.

Kiran More toured Australia with the Indian team in 198-86. When an injury in an early match of the World Series Cup virtually ended the international career of Syed Kirmani, More played in the remaining matches of the tournament. From then till 1993, More was the first choice wicketkeeper for India in Tests. In one day matches, he often lost the place to wicket keepers who were better batsmen.

Kiran More played 49 Test matches and scored 1,285 runs at an average of 25.70. He scored 7 fifties , with 73 being his top score.

Kiran More made his ODI debut for India in 1984 and went on to play 94 matches for the team. However, Kiran More scored only 563 runs at an average of 13.09 and a top score of 42.

In his first-class career, Kiran More plated 151 matches and scored 5,223 runs at an average of 31.08. He scored 7 centuries and 29 fifties with a top score of 181*.

He was the Chairman of the Selection Committee of the BCCI before being replaced by former-India captain Dilip Vengsarkar in 2006.
