Shane Warne was a former Aussie cricketer who captained the national side in ODIs.

Shane Warne made his Test debut on January 2, 1992 against India. He played his last Test exactly 15 years later on January 2, 2007 against England. 

Shane Warne played a total of 145 Tests and took 708 wickets with best bowling figures of 8/71. He was the highest wicket-taker in Test history after Muralitharan surpassed him in 2007.

Shane Warne had taken 37 Test fifers which is the third highest in cricket history.

Shane Warne made his ODI debut in March 1993 against New Zealand and played his final ODI in January 2005.

On December 21, 2006 Shane Warne announced his retirement from international cricket.

In 2013, Shane Warne was inducted into the ICC Cricket Hall of Fame.
