FC Pune City head coach Ranko Popovic called Sunil Chhetri the best ever Indian player. Bengaluru FC rode Chhetri's hat-trick to reach the final of the Indian Super League (ISL) 2017-18 season.
The India skipper's triple strike gave Bengaluru FC a 3-1 win in the semi-final second-leg on Sunday. "I think Sunil Chhetri is the best ever Indian player, and these kind of players know how to play in these kind of games. He scored a hat-trick, and he was the hero today. The young players should learn from this," said Popovic.
