Amir Khan scored twice as Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) defeated last year's runners-up Air India 3-1 to enter the final of the 49th All India Bombay Gold Cup hockey tournament at MHA-Mahindra Stadium, Churchgate on Saturday.

In the final, BPCL will take on defending champs Indian Oil (Mumbai) who beat Indian Navy 5-2 in the first semis.
Playing under floodlights, Varun Sharma opened the scoring for BPCL in the second minute off a penalty corner.
20-year-old Khan scored a brilliant field goal to give the Bangalore team a 2-0 lead at half-time before scoring in the 59th minute to make it 3-0. AI pulled a goal back through Gaganpreet Singh's penalty corner conversion in the 66th minute.
In the first semi-final, Inderjeet Singh, Dharamveer Singh, Deepak Thakur, Prabhjot Singh and Roshan Minz scored for Indian Oil while Amit Goswami and Surender Kumar scored a goal each for the Navy team.
