A regular feature at the Pro Kabaddi League-2 matches this season has been stars like former cricketer Sourav Ganguly and Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan singing the national anthem before the match. Yesterday, Bollywood starlet Alia Bhatt was handed the microphone and she surprised a few people with her melodious rendition. However, fans of the actor would tell you that Bhatt has previously sung in two of her movies - Highway (where she sang a song called Sooha Saha) and Humpty Sharma ki Dulhania (Samjhawan Unplugged).

No tickets
Going by the demand for tickets for even league matches, the Pro Kabaddi League-2 final tickets were always going to be a premium commodity. Such was the demand that the tickets were sold out in a couple of hours after they were made available on bookmyshow.com. Even at the stadium, there were no tickets available for anyone who came hoping to buy some from the Box Office at the stadium.
U Mumba's trophy parade...
English Premier League sides are known to show off their silverware at the end of the season with open-top bus parades in the city where they are based. Chelsea did it to commemorate their EPL victory, while Arsenal did one too for their FA Cup title earlier this year. It is learnt that the U Mumba franchise was also planning something similar. However, the Mumbai franchise's parade will have a twist. In true Mumbai style, the team's victory parade was to start at JW Mariott and the team will then travel in a local train till Churchgate with the trophy.
Stars make a beeline for NSCI
The PKL-2 final was a star-studded affair with Bollywood actors like Alia Bhatt, Saif Ali Khan, Katrina Kaif and Abhishek Bachchan in attendance. India cricket skipper MS Dhoni was also present in the stands. Katrina, in fact, made it clear that she was supporting U Mumba by turning up in the team's jersey.
