The fancied Tigers did not have things easy and had to strive hard at the start, but eventually strolled to 4-1 win against Challengers FC in the summit clash.
Agnelo Picardo, who later won the Golden Boot award for his 15 goals in nine games, scored a hat-trick, while Kunal Mhatre added the fourth goal to secure the win for Tigers. Ankit Dalvi got the lone goal for Challengers.
