It's been over two years since Dipika Pallikal has been linked with cricketer Dinesh Karthik, but the squash queen insists that they don't discuss their respective sports with each other

It's been more than two years since Dipika Pallikal has been linked with India's ace cricketer Dinesh Karthik, but the squash queen insisted that they don't discuss their respective sports with each other.

"We stay out of each other's business. So, unless we need help, we don't discuss squash or cricket," said Pallikal, who was in the city yesterday along with men's squash champion Saurav Ghosal to announce the four-leg JSW Indian Squash Challenger circuit which kicks off in Jaipur on October 2.
Pallikal was appreciative of her fiancé's support. "It's great to share your victories with somebody. At the same time, I can also fall back on Dinesh after a defeat.
Being athletes, we understand each other's pressure well. We both are very individualistic people and give each other the space," said the Glasgow Commonwealth Games doubles gold medallist.
Karthik's support
Karthik was in Glasgow to support Pallikal and her doubles partner Joshna Chinappa. The World No 10 was definitely counting on her fiancé's support during the mega event.

"It's good to have family and friends around. Unfortunately, my parents were unable to make it to Glasgow. So, it was great to have him (Karthik) around to support me. It was sweet of him," she concluded.
