India's tally went up to five bronze medals when wrestler Aman Sehrawat defeated Puerto Rico's Darian Cruz in the men's 57kg freestyle category. The 21-year-old wrestler won the match by 13-5 against Cruz

Ace Indian wrestler Vinesh Phogat after sealing the final berth in the women's 50kg category was disqualified from the event due to being overweight. However, she has made an appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) to award her a joint silver medal. If the decision ends in Phogat's favour, India will earn its second medal at the Paris Olympics 2024
